  1. Nifty gator!

There was a gator that lived behind a doctor's house on Jekyll Island, near a cottage we rented for several years.

OF COURSE his name was Albert. Eventually he got too big and was deported to the golf course.

  6. I love your picture, and I love the game. I'm particularly enchanted by the fact that one can use old posts and things. It might be a great way of reviving some buried posts ;-)

  7. Now that's FUN!!! Where or where did you find this beauty??? Hopefully not your backyard:) Remember to run zig zag if they chase you and not straight. It messes with their vision:)

  19. That's one thing you definitely want to see from behind. It wouldn't be fun seeing it coming at you!

  21. You've got more guts than I'll ever have: This pic is stunning! I can almost feel what it must have been like to be crouched behind this beyond-scary animal. Closest I ever came was an iguana, which totally doesn't compare.

I promise I'll make the next theme a little less dangerous :) So glad you shared this!

  23. Sorry, life got in the way of my blogging and I am now playing catch up.

This shot makes me glad that I do not live in gator country. I would not like to stumble on one of these at any time.
