friday's fringe - 17 (perfectly perched!)

this new FRIDAY'S FRINGE banner is made of armadillo & raccoon bones, deer teeth & feathers.
i'll be adding it to the 'bOne dOOdle' page above...and you'll see it each friday at the top of the post!  :)

every friday. just one of my nature shots...
with an occasional 'morph' tossed in now and then (like today - TWO!)

like an oil painting...

embossed...almost looks as if it's painted on cement...

and the original...

  6. Love the new banner! It's so you!! :):)
That second one really does look like it's on cement and that first one like a roughly painted version. Great original shot, too, of course. (Always my favorite.)
Give Milo a neck scratch and belly rub from me. :)

  8. However the shot is treated, it's more than enough to take my breath away. Such a stunning creature, and how lucky we are to get to see it through your eyes.

I've been slumming it with seagulls lately....I think I need to get out more often and seek out different subjects. Thanks for the inspiration, Laura!

  27. Hi Girl! I'm a fan of Blue Heron, and both of your morphed photos are the best...I don't know which one I like best, probably the embossed one. You're right, it does look like it's painted on cement. And, your bone banner is really cool. Did you actually glue it together permantly? A real cool post, Laura! Happy Heron Hunting!♥

  30. Feathers and bones, and more feathers and bones Oh my! What a lovely piece of artwork! I just adore the Blue Herons and have been lucky enough to have made a few my friends, (well for a brief spell of them following me about in the water) hoping I'd land a fish they could steal! Have a wonderful Friday that goes right into a wonderful weekend! - Karen
