  2. Why did it take so long to show us the sunrise, it is beautiful, wonderful, superb, etc etc etc. I'm glad that you liked Talking Heads as well.

    1. i might have even posted a picture like this...from a year ago, when we went camping there...but we might not have been blogger friends back then?!!

  3. You give to us the most amazing photos! Beauty into one's daily life that so many people often let slip by! I can happily say that we all camped once in Georgia! It was when I first met the lovely spanish moss, (and thankfully left it alone) not something I always do, as yestereday I picked up some very awesome leaves that had been eaten so badly that they appeared like lace! For a fairy house in the making! Enjoy your weekend....!

  4. Wonderful photos. Wow! What a way to start the day seeing a sunrise like that over the lake. The car headlights in the moon photo give it a neat feeling, too.
    I love the cloudy moon.

  8. Your moon shots came out great. I tried last night...again! Ugh..I still don't know how to use this fancy camera. My older and much simpler one takes better moon shots. Anyhoo, nicely done(love your shadow!)....plus the clouds add a bit of character to the pic. You have to teach me how to do those night shots.....I'm no good at them. We have a bat coming to our hummingbird feeder spilling out all the juice. I want to get that on film but I'm usually sleeping:) Love that first pic and especially that quote. It's true....gotta love the nature. Have a good weekend:)

    1. i'm NOT very good at6 night shots...but i've learned to get pic's of the moon...by taking pictures ALL THE TIME!! i set it to let less light in...especially on a full moon!! and then zoom it in as much as it will! (i have a Canon Powershot SX120...an under $200. camera)

  9. Outstanding sky photos! Views like that first one are the reward for early rising. Don't you just love how low light gives your shadow such nice long legs?

  17. OOOh...who was that shadowy creature looming in the dark beneath that gorgeous moon? What a cool shot Laura. Your lake shot is extraordinary! Beauty abounds! Sunrise can produce some of the best photos.

Hope you are escaping the mammoth mosquitoes- it's getting pretty dry here, and mosquitoes tend to fade away when there's no moisture around. Have a good weekend! Hugs to you and yours.♥
