  2. Wow! That's wonderfully vivid. I love hibiscuses (hibisci? A hibiscus and its friends?)

  3. Cute! It's such a funny thing about June Bugs, their life span being rather short lived, and they say if exposed with too much sunlight they die...although every morning I find from 1 to 6 of them swimming (YES!) swimming with their frail little buggy legs, in my kitty cat's water! When I dump it, they are still moving! I Had no idea how long they can fight for life! When I grew up in Michigan they were really thick, and just driving down the road they would dive bomb our car...not so much any more!

  16. So glad to hear the root canal & extraction went OK - glad the pain is gone. Upward & onward, now, into a hopefully-better June! Take care of yourself, Laura. The rest of us are still hangin' in there with you, so get back to cyberspace ONLY when you feel up to it. We'll all be here...

  17. Cool shot. I love how the stylus and the shadow are in focus. I have a hard time doing that with my macro lens. Yikes on the dental work. Glad it went OK. Hope you're feeling better soon.

  18. I hope all is well with the root canal. I had one in February. It wasn't too bad. I think it often depends on the dentist/endodontist who does it.

I just looked at your "...rather than a thousand words" post. Your photos are incredible. Thanks for sharing all that beauty.
