(well, usually...just ONE picture...this time...the coolest minnow video!)
wonderful - love it when the 2 spirals merge...fab music too!
ReplyDeletethanks lindsey!! :) i agree...when the one spiral POPS and then the two merge...i get goosebumps!!
Deletethe music is one of my "work playlist" favorites!! it really fits...
What a marvellous sight! Thank you Laura, it was just great to watch :D)
ReplyDeleteSo cool when the spiral explodes outwards and then closes in again...but...why are they doing that? Are they feeding? Is this normal minnow behaviour?
ReplyDeletei have never seen the minnows do this...not for this length of time...not such an intricate 'dance'. usually...they just travel in schools....a bunch...along the shore. this was different!
Deletei was amazed!!
thanks Delores!! :)

ReplyDeletewell...besides the minnows dancing being awesome...YOU are awesome...for pointing people in this direction!! the more the merrier...and it feels GOOD to know that so many people came...saw...and enjoyed!!

DeleteTexWisGirl shared this with me and I'm very happy that she did. Just perfect at the perfect time. I was running around trying to get things together for going out of town. Spending the weekend with my mom, and it's always a challenge finishing all preparations. I sat down one final time to check email and the link was in my inbox. Joy! thanks for this. my first visit - it's very nice to meet you. I'll be back. happy weekend to you LauraK.
ReplyDeleteWhoops! I mean Tex sent it to me. I get Rural Ranch and Run A Around Ranch mixed up in my cluttered little brain. :(

ReplyDeleteAdd me to the list of people TWG sent this way. I really enjoyed that and am always looking for inspiration for my own videos. I've never seen anything like that...well, I guess so on a much grander scale, like Nature programs of fish in the ocean schooling, but minnows, no. The music made it. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThis is the most amazing video I have ever seen. What an awesome capture. Theresa sent me to you and what a treat this video has been for my old eyes. Beautiful work. genie
