  8. First off I really love your picture - well done it can't have been to catch the deer running.
I have just seen this on the news here in Scotland - totally shocking. My thoughts go to all of the victims.

  9. If that's "congested"... beautiful creature.

And yes, it's impossible to express how one feels about these incidents. They reverberate around the world and each one strips another little bit of humanity from all of us.

  11. You know, I'm taking a psychology of violence seminary. We are currently studying serial killers and mass murderers, I swear that regardless of how much evidence and explanations and studies and... well, whatever, I just can't understand why some people break the way the do and cause so much destruction.

I pray for the souls of the victims and their families.

Thanks for the beautiful picture. It reminds me that even in the middle of the ugly, there are rays of furry sunshine ;-)

  13. A great shot Laura...even in flight, deer are beautiful.

What's the matter with people? Why would one person set out to cause such a tragedy? I'm starting to think that suicide is a better solution for people like this guy! Why didn't he just off himself? As you, my heart goes out for the victims and their families.

    See you soon Laura! xxoo

  14. Perfect shot with the sign and all, too.

I don't watch the news, but I even heard about this tragedy. Why? What drives people to do things like this? I'll never understand it. Prayers for all the people involved.

  15. Neat. I was camping down at Gulf Shores State Park for a couple of days last week, but only saw birds, bugs, and fish.

  16. Hi Laura -- Love the way you got the motion of that deer as she ran!
I always feel kind of funny posting my happy little posts when there's news like that from Aurora, so frightening...I usually don't say anything because I never really know what TO say (whether I'm talking or writing). I'm glad you did acknowledge the way we all feel.
