Beautiful Eagles shot, and I love your header.
THANKS Bob!! :)
Bald eagle posing! I want to go to Lochloosa Lake X
we took a ride over there...to see if we could put the boat in...but the water is SOOOOOO low, which is kind of surprising with all the rain we've been having! it's hard to imagine that the water was even LOWER than it is now!!
Hi Laura...How lucky is that to get two Eagles in on shot...I have seen a lot of them over the years, but never got a photo let alone a two for one! ; }}Have a great one!!Grace
OH yeah...i was pretty lucky! it's a good thing we have the digital cameras now...because you can just snap away...and it doesn't cost anything to develop the film...just delete the bad ones! the pictures i took were from our boat...in the water...not an easy task! :)
oh, sweetie! i am so dang jealous!!! how awesome!
THANKS T!!!! :) as i said earlier...i was lucky to get that shot!!
OMGosh! What a magnificent pair!! Fantastic shot.Have a delightful weekend, dear lady! :)

THANKS robert!!YES...like KINGS...perched on their tree=throne!
THANKS! my thoughts exactly...when i saw them perched up there...
They are beautiful. I don't know what else to say. I screamed a little. Can't wait to show the picture to the Little Princess.
ha! THANKS magaly. i screamed a little too...when i saw the eagles flying around...and then just sitting there...pleading to have their picture taken! :)
They are majestic! Good shot...good eye! Love your Friday's Fringe Laura...have a good weekend!♥
Thanks susan!! hope you had a good weekend...and have a great week ahead!
Awesome! I was camping at Gulf Shores State Park for two nights. Saw what was either an osprey or a juvenile Bald Eagle (bad eyesight, no binocs and driving the car). There is one nest near the camping area. Also saw a few nesting platforms that are not occupied.
so cool!! could have been either i guess...or better yet...BOTH!! :)
That is one stunning image you have there, perfectly captured.I hope you can come check out my blog and follow along with my photography journeyShaun Valleys ShutterBug
THANKS shaun...would be happy to follow your photo journey!! :)
Wonderful Laura! Amazing capture. Lochloosa Lake is going on my 'must visit next season' list.
THANKS sallie...hopefully if you DO get over to Lochloosa...there's more water in the lake by then! they also rent out cabins and RV spots!
Congrats Laura, it is a great shot. You are the lucky one to capture two eagles. Take care and have a great day!
THANKS eileen! yep, i WAS lucky to get that shot!! you have a great day too!
Never saw a eagle. You saw TWO! Very glad you posted the picture. So grand. Take care. Best to you always in your journeys.
Thanks jean! there are quite a few eagles around there...i was very lucky to get the TWO of them together!
Oh, you brat! I would melt if I could get in this close!!!!. I am trying to save for a new camera with more zoom..:)JP
Thanks JP! being on the lake...and the trees lining the shore...it is possible to get pretty close, as long as they don't get scared away. my camera is not a REALLY good one. i mean it's not one of those cameras with interchangeable zoom lenses or anything like that. it's a canon powershot 10x zoom. if you're looking for a camera...this is the best camera of this type i've ever had!! i LOVE it!!
I'm blown away by your pictures tonight. These bald eagles are awesome. Where in the world did you find them? You are so fortunate to have them around you. They are coming back.....but in Arizona, they are around water and in Tucson, we are a bit short on that commodity:)
thanks for stopping by! it's always nice to hear from fellow wanderers!
