friday's fringe - 5 (spiraling minnows)



~ a short 2 minute video i did while we were at Rodman Reservoir/Lake Ocklawaha last weekend. ~

      the music is one of my "work playlist" favorites!! it really fits...

  3. So cool when the spiral explodes outwards and then closes in again...but...why are they doing that? Are they feeding? Is this normal minnow behaviour?

    1. i have never seen the minnows do this...not for this length of time...not such an intricate 'dance'. usually...they just travel in schools....a bunch...along the shore. this was different!
      i was amazed!!

I've never seen anything like that...well, I guess so on a much grander scale, like Nature programs of fish in the ocean schooling, but minnows, no. The music made it. Well done.

  36. Fantastic! Minnows are of that special group of 'unsung' wonders! I've had them in an acquarium before because a friend had leftovers...go figure. You captured a graceful, beautiful sight...and, with great music to boot! They're not JUST for fishing!♥
